José AguÃn Not surprisingly, I would say. Double-checking the article it focus on young people. I have to say that British are the third national group migrating to Spain, after Morocco and Romania -at least until the crisis, now they might be the first. But most of them they are retired, around 300,000 more British every year retiring to Spain. The reasons: the weather is mild, and the healthcare is universal, free and of high quality standards, meaning that they can get their surgeries for free.

José AguÃn However, Spain is not a good place for labour migrants right now. But, coming back to the article, they do not state what kind of migration they talk about. Young people "migrate" for a lot of reasons, not only labour market reasons -as to Spain elder British they come for the living standards and the healthcare. I am afraid that when young migrants decide to migrate not always are for employment opportunities, and also the article doesn´t mention what they define as migration -a round trip to the Philippines for a three month tour working occasionally at a scuba diving shop is migration?...
