Signs You Need to Quit Your Job

Who am I to tell anyone to quit their job now? I may sound pathetic and ridiculous but I will tell you my own story NOT anyone else’s. It’s been 14 days since I have left my 8 year old job to pause my life for a moment then try to rewrite my destiny if I still can. My former coworker asked me if I am bored already I said “Heck No and No Way!”. I just cannot take doing the same things over and over again. And I am so damn proud of my early rewards. I was able to grant a few things that I have always deprived myself for such a long time: sleeping well, resting a lot and praying.

While everyone is rushing to wake up in the morning preparing for work and go home dead tired in the evening, I chose to stop the alarm clock for ruling my life at least for now. Okay I will be hypocrite if I don't feel anything negative at all,  but if there’s one, that is I am scared because for years I am used to check my ATM account every 15th and 30th of the month seeing a fixed amount of cash enough to make me financially satisfied for a given period of time.

MassKara Festival 2013 in Bacolod List of Activities

MassKara Festival in Bacolod is one of the most awaited festivals in the Philippines  celebrated every third weekend of October usually October 19th.

According to Wikipedia, "the word "Masskara" is a portmanteau, coined by the late artist Ely Santiago from mass (a multitude of people), and the Spanish word cara (face), thus forming MassKara (a multitude of faces). The word is also a pun on maskara (Filipino for "mask"), since a prominent feature of the festival are the masks worn by participants, which are always adorned with smiling faces.

Peñafrancia Festival of Naga 2013

Every September hundreds of thousands pilgrims flock to Naga to celebrate the Nuestra Señora de  Peñafrancia FestivalNaga is home to this 300+ year old devotion  and this place has been declared as the Pilgrim City of the Philippines by virtue of a Presidential Proclamation, the only city of its kind.

In English it is known as the Feast of the Blessed Virgin of Peñafrancia or the solemn act of bringing back the image of Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia to its home at the Basilica Minore aboard a colorful boat known as pagoda while the pilgrims line to the river holding candles and waving handkerchiefs.

Basilica Minore de Nuestra Señora Peñafrancia on the other hand is where the original image of Virgin of Peñafrancia can be seen. Its expansive stained-glass window depicting highlights of the feast’s fluvial procession at the church’s façade is said to be the largest in the country, even larger than the North Rose Window of the Notre Dame Cathedral in France.

Naga is also really doing efforts to promote their tourism via Naga X or short of Naga Excusion even beyond the Penafrancia Festival.
