Malacanang Palace has already released the Philippine Official Public Holidays for 2014 signed by Pres. Aquino last Sept. 25th. This list comprises of least 18 public holidays and 4 long weekends. Referred to as Proclamation No. 655, it declares that all holidays except religious - related should be moved to the nearest Monday. However in cases of Eid'l Fitr and Eidul Adha, the dates for the proclamation shall be according to the Islamic calendar .

Chinese New Year on January 31, Friday, as a Special Non-Working Day.
Holy Week starts Holy Thursday on April 17, Good Friday on April 18, both regular holidays then Black Saturday, April 19, a Special Non-Working Day.
National Heroes Day on August 25, Monday
