Visiting Singapore is like going to China, India and the world! My two days is certainly not enough to see this country entirely but I can say that they have a very - well developed tourism industry.
They were able to retain the many identities of their culture and heritage. Their famous architectures and landscapes around the world all speak of their advancement in terms of technology.
That is why I cannot blame a lot of Filipinos are very much willing to work in Singapore even giving up their citizenship because I can literally see everywhere the countless opportunities!
I want to share to you the list of seven places to visit in Singapore. Please do not expect that the Universal Studios and Sentosa Island Resort are included in here because I am a heritage buff - in short I am into getting to know the place rather than enjoying what is in that place. I can probably see these places on my next visit but for now I would like to recommend these seven reasons that make up the country of Singapore.

Chinatown
I am very lucky that my accommodation for 2 nights is located along Pagoda Street, this is one of the most historical streets in Chinatown.

Instead of staying to a hotel, I opted a hostel for only Sg$32 per night within Chinatown while my travel buddy who arrived hours after booked at Little India. Rates here are cheaper because we chose a 6-bedroom dorm mixed type – meaning my roommates can be girls or boys. Sharing a room with strangers has some risks like you may get robbed or harassed and hostels are cheap because it has a few inconveniences like the water faucet may not function and the liquid soap bottle has gone empty so need to ask the coordinators to refill it et cetera.. But then again if you are not that choosy and you are budget - conscious, you can opt for hostels and dormitories.

Chinatown Heritage Center: You can buy the most affordable souvenirs you can bring home: lanterns, merlion keychain, aromatheraphy / skin care products, calligraphy stalls, silk poaches etc. This place is very beautiful! I feel like I was transported to China in an instant without a visa!
Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, is one of the world's busiest art centers. It's concert has 1, 600 seats and the theater has a capacity of 2,000 seats. It is FREE admission most of the time except on selected events .

Marina Bay Sands Park, is billed as the world's most expensive standalone casino property. Just look at it. You will have the answers why.

Changi Airport, yes their airport is a tourist spot itself. It will take hours for me to count one by one.
Sri Mariamman Temple, is Singapore's oldest Hindu temple. It been gazetted a National Monument and is a major tourist attraction.

TIPS
1. Please buy the Singapore Tourist Pass to save a lot. You can ride to all public transportation UNLIMITED. Yes.
2. On a really tight budget? You can dine and shop at People's Park Complex at 101 Upper Cross Street.
3. Orchard Road Mall is like our Greenbelt in Ayala, Makati. While I was walking I thought I was really in Makati because I have encountered a dozen Filipinos out there.

Little India is an ethnic neighbourhood that has Tamil cultural elements. It is located in the Singapore River—across from Chinatown, located west of the river—and north of Kampong Glam. It is more commonly known as Tekka in the local Tamil community.
