2 WFH Sisters and 1 Dog Sharing Our Travels in Bicol and Manila

Take chances, my fellow ladies!

At my favorite tea shop
Do you know how crazy I am as an entrepreneur and founder of this online travel shop? I religiously join events around the metro to make sure that I am surrounded by like - minded individuals from time to time who can keep this passion burning like hell inside me.  There were two incredible events I was a part of recently. On March 8th, I attended the Women Techmakers Manila, a Google - backed initiative to empower more women to excel in men dominated fields like IT and to encourage them to create their own businesses or excel in startup community.

I learned that when it comes to hiring process, Google does not solely judge an applicant based on his / her degrees  but more on the learning ability and intellectually humility qualifications.  Learning ability is the pace of how an individual can adapt to the working environment  including the tasks that come with it. Intellectual humility is the attitude towards situations when a person commits mistakes and how he/she handles the consequences.

These concepts are very critical to me as a bootstrapping entrepreneur  because I know that anytime soon I will be tapping additional manpower as I expand my business.  It takes time to find the right persons who can run a business with the exact passion as that of the owner.

On March 11th, I also attended Shopinas.com's seminar dubbed as ‘Market Online, Sell Online, Earn Online: Guide to Creating Your Own Online Store.’  When I stared this online shop, I have zero technical knowledge.  I learned about how online payment works and its many options. My heart pumped so fast when the speaker introduced fellow online shop owners who are earning P50, 000 - 70, 000+ per week!

Come first week of April, I am also very excited to join another fantastic event, Create Freedom Online workshop that will be facilitated by well - accomplished women travel bloggers. Unlike the first two I mentioned, this one is not free. I don't mind paying though as long as It can be of great value. This whole day talk is all about  finding your own passion, living a location - independent style and taking the path of entrepreneurship.

I have never been this hopeful in my life after quitting an 8 year old job. It was like I got my life back! I finally was able to control my time and spend every day at my own pace. Of course everything comes with consequences and I am taking chances! I just have to believe that I can. I am living an awesome life now. I got a very promising career ahead of me. I AM  STARTING TO INSPIRE OTHERS.

So to my fellow ladies, don't be afraid to dream big. Dreaming is not only for kids, it is for everyone. Don't let your femininity stop you from starting anything that seems impossible. Don't let anyone take advantage of you - just because you are weak and emotional.  You know what I mean girl!
