Guesting in a live radio station is a dream . Last Saturday Aug. 9th, it finally came true. Thanks to Ross Flores Del Rosario, the founder behind the Facebook group Wazzup Pilipinas - a community of hundreds of bloggers in Manila. Honestly I have never seen any groups of bloggers in the metro to date that are as active as the Wazzup Pilipinas. Almost every day, I see thread conversations of brand invitations, articles of fellow bloggers and award citations of Ross himself as a mover in the online world. From how I see it, Wazzup Pilipinas already reached the level where a lot of the country's PR's, media and companies are recognizing its high potential to spread the word of their brands online.
One such partnership that Wazzup Pilipinas is establishing a radio program for bloggers tacking about blogging. This opportunity paved way to give chances to the bloggers of Wazzup Pilipinas to go on air courtesy of Radyo Inquirer DZIQ 990 AM. Dubbed as "e- Blog mo na yan, " the show can be heard from 10AM - 11AM every Saturday.
Hosted by Den Macaranas & Elison Barcelo, the Vigattin anchors of Radio Inquirer, we talked about how we started blogging and was also able to promote our blogs as well. The Vigattin show aside from featuring blogging also talks about the latest technology and social media.
Ross Angeles, the founder of Jobads4free.com also joined us. He talks about his latest venture of free job ads placements in his site and as an owner of a business himself, he believes in the power of blogging as a medium for products to be spread out the fastest online.
