Love My New Hairstyle By Tony Galvez Salon & School of Cosmetology!

I may sound so shallow but when I was younger, heartaches determine when it is time for me to get a new haircut, hairstyle or color. It does not matter if that is just a fluffy, quick admiration unrequitted or a love that can move mountains. Yours truly is proud to say that somehow I have matured in a way now that I am 30.

For the past few years, I have been sporting a long one. The last time I had my hair done was in December 2012 for a photo shoot and interview of my magazine appearance that was published in March of 2013.

I really wanted to look extraordinary for that moment so the night before I spent a few thousand pesos for this once-in-a-lifetime experience of appearing in the gloss print (though I still hope and pray that there will be more to come hehe).

After that I have never set my foot in a salon ever. Until last September, I featured Sir Tony Galvez - the owner of Tony Galvez School of Cosmetology regarding his dedication and passion to the beauty industry.  His  school is the country's first and only recognized by the National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology in the USA so far.  He wants to professionalize technical vocational courses in the Philippines so that our students can compete globally. This is such an uunprecedented tough challenge that he said he has never learned of any individual who tried to come up with this idea, only him. You may click here to read the whole interview.

My before look
I am so thrilled after the interview with him because he gave us a gift certificate of hair makeover in his salon worth P3k. I also brought home an organic bottle of shampoo and conditioner which I loved so much knowing that it is chemical free from Japan. Just last

Just last week, I decided to drop by and avail the service. This time the only reason is not about getting over someone (though I am honestly not getting over someone yet) but just to feel good and look better. I am a busy bee so I went there without any new hairstyle in mind.

Sir Tony was around when I went there. He was very accommodating. He even remembered my blog name. He asked about a few a questions of my travels and that's why I admire him because he makes an effort to get to know us.  I said I just wanted a new hairstyle but he insisted since I always join events and meet a lot of people I should look much better with an added color. I told him I only wanted to avail the exact amount of the gc he gave us but to my surprise he said "No problem. I will take care of everything".

I am very privileged that he personally did the haircut and styling with the assistance of her staff. I mean not everyone gets to have a service done by the owner of the salon who has decades of experience in the beauty industry.  I will surely go back to Sir Tony Galvez' salon the next time my hair needs another makeover because everything is worth it!
