Here's the irony of my travel adventures. Back when I used to have fewer trips, I am able to carefully plan my itinerary bit by bit : from what to do to where to stay. Promise I will just return at night when I am so dog tired. But when more opportunities to go places and after I landed a part-time top secret job that involves travelling around the country for free, everything became spontaneous.
I actually got a cheap hotel just right after I arrived. Just a mere mention from a fellow travel blogger I read from his post last night made me choose the New Roxan Hotel. Like him I am not literally recommending this to anyone but if you are budget-savvy type type of traveler, this one is for you. For only P300 per night you can have a room with single bed, own CR, a big roof fan and in the heart of the city. The whole space is pretty big it even have a small table, a chair and another type of furniture I do't know what to call with a mirror and a bench for the ladies to have a comfortable space to prettify themselves.
I only need one day and one night to fulfill my travel task but since my flight is free and I have a hotel stipend of this certain amount, I decided to make the most out of it. And since I have changed the type of traveler that I am now because of my frequent trips, I have decided to take everything slow. I always believe there's always a second time for everything. I can always go back here should I want. What I prefer to do now is to walk to the nearby streets from where I stay, see how the locals live their day-to-day activities and talk to them. I want to know what they eat and what are their stories. If there's one thing that I look forward to now in every trips aside from what to see is getting to know the people I meet along the way.
Probably I would go out and see one or two of what Pagadian has to offer than the rest I will spend doing my stuff online.
Getting all naked especially sleeping is also what I love the most when staying in a hotel room. I just don't know why. I think because I feel liberated when I am in a strange place all alone... I feel free. But this does not mean I don't feel the loneliness of being solitary, this one though is what I am trying to conquer till now.
Please watch out of my blog post for Pagadian and Ozamiz pretty soon :)
