Pagadian's Uniquely Designed Tricycles that Incline 25-40° Angle!

One thing I have never expected in my visits to Mindanao is to be totally amazed of the many versions of their tricycles - Philippines' one of the most common modes of transportation for short distance trips. From Cagayan de Oro's rela which has only three wheels to Ozamiz' sikad which looked so fabulously light and thin I am once again delighted to see another one in Pagadian absolutely unique from the rest.  Called as motorcab as per the tricycle driver I talked this morning, this type of vehicle is uniquely designed to adopt to the city's hilly terrain. I was actually roaming around and really saw  most of their streets in the centro are elevated.

This types of tricycles in Pagadian can carry up to 5 people: Two from the front row, another two from the back and one at the back of the driver. But you know how resourceful the Filipinos right? You might see one carrying more than this!

Pagadian is said to be the only place in the Philippines with a public transport inclined at about 25-40° angle. Although this ride is not advisable for tall or big people because of the smaller space inside. At first I was really worried it might flip over but it did not. You gotta try it when you get here! They say you have not been to Pagadian if you have not tried riding here.
