Travelling here and there certainly sounds absolutely a bliss but with all these never ending pre - trip preparations and post - trip effects of all sort, these also add stress. I mentioned in my previous post that after my Tuguegarao trip I would like to relax and recharge for my next trip. I totally need a super duper break, take it all slow so that I can quickly get back on track, be refreshed and renewed. Of course my life is not all about travel.I also have a personal life and a full time work that all deserve to be taken care of. For a lady like me a body wellness pampering package is heaven. That's why when I got invited to join Posh Nails Hand And Foot Spa's 13th year celebration, I totally said yes.
It was really a fun afternoon for a bunch of lady bloggers who came at the main office of Posh Nails especially when I saw a few of them whom I have made friends because of bumping each others shoulders in different events and product launching. They write more of mainstream lifestyle topics while I focus more on travel. I have not seen them for a while since I am frequently out of town.
What made our "get-together" bonding more especial is just by being inside Posh Nails. Its iconic purple and pink interiors exude an aura that made us feel a lady inside and at home in each other's sisterly company. Being the country's top nail salon, it can literally invite any girl to settle down for a while and have their nails and hands done by their highly - trained technicians scrub, buff and polish all that stress away.
We also got to try Posh Nails' newest nail salon service, the DETOX Mani+Pedi treatment that specifically targets those who want to detox as they relax. This nails and hands pampering package uses nature-based products that are designed to nourish and moisturize with a promise to deliver antioxidants that neutralize free radicals in the body caused by stress.
Really loved how this one-hour service made me my nails and hands look better. I also had a short massage in both of my legs from my foot up to below my knees but for my hands, I think Fe who attended me may have been overwhelmed that she forgot to do the same. We are a large group of bloggers and a few celebrities who came that time so I would understand.
For the pedicure session, they use the Extended Massage Lotion with Shea Butter & Tuscan Grapeseed which combines Shea butter's intensive moisturizing properties and the latter that neutralize free radicals. Also included in the treatment is the Pedicure Cuticle Softener with Pomegranate & Alpha Hydroxy that promises to gently, yet effectively exfoliate, cleanse and soften stubborn cuticles with Pomegranate which is rich in antioxidants and alpha hydroxy acids to soften tissue then remove unwanted skin cells.
The Detox Manicure products include the Manicure Cuticle Soak with Aronia Berry & Tea Tree which softens, cleanses and refreshes hands and nails with Aronia berries that provide high levels of antioxidants and tea tree that has natural antiseptic qualities; the Manicure Milk & Honey Butter wash with Jojoba beads to gently exfoliate skin while leaving it soft and supple. The scent of the Manicure Extended Massage lotion with Seabuckthorn & White Tea that offers a nourishing and hydrating finish is so damn good!
Cat Ilacad, the Founder and Pamper queen of Posh Nails said "The DETOX Mani + Pedi pampering package by uses all Cuccio products that I have personally tried and believe in. The main goal of the service is to offer our clients a wonderful pampering experience where skin is renewed and nails are revitalized."
We also got to see Miss International Bea Rose Santiago 2013, Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes. Toni Gonzaga dropped by too. When I arrived I happened to catch the talk about letting go and all that. .. I felt a bit lighter after that. Thanks Posh Nails!

Agree. You said this when you find a girl looks pretty or sexy. Though it means only two things. Either she takes it as a complement or finds it offensive. It is how you say it :)
ReplyDeleteIf I am the guy though I would rather go on a polite way with gentle words to express it
I guess that "hehehehe" means that you took it as a compliment, which I am sure is how it was intended :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it is another Monday morning and I must get on my bike and go to work .... so bye for now .....
Oh she is a friend. we tease each other in a friendly manner so I don't mind :)
DeleteWow I hope I can bike way to work just that I cant. The way to my office though is near have no bike lanes. Lucky you!
Yeah we sure need it. Have you tried having your feet soaked in warm wax?
ReplyDeleteI have not :) The irony is ever since I started travelling, I have actually learned to live within if not beyond my means. All I ever ask when I am about to buy if it is worth of a roundtrip flight already somewhere. If yes, I always think twice.
ReplyDeleteThese are sponsored by brands so as a blogger I get it as usually free. I want to try it too though
