DIY Itinerary to Northern Mindanao, CARAGA and Davao Provinces for 10 Days to a SOLO Female Backpacker

Dinagat island, Surigao

A few weeks ago, I featured Camille in The Inspiring Traveler Series:  She is 20, been to 37 Philippine provinces and recently finished a 10 - day solo backpacking in Mindanao.

I was only planning to post her DIY tips and itinerary of her 10 - day trip to Northern Mindanao, CARAGA and Davao but I was just simply captivated by her stunning photos so here am I posting a different article about her trip. I have to admit her 10 - day trail wasn't the usual itinerary to anyone. It is one of the longest I have ever heard for a young and solo woman backpacker like her. As a matter of fact since I am researching for the right keywords on how to come up with an article about this, I had to really take time to find it out.

Aliwagwag Falls

I had to admit it was quite a challenge to figure it out myself.  It was a combination of Philippine famous backpacking routes. From day 1 to 3 she did a CDO - Camiguin - Bukidnon - Iligan tour, then the CARAGA: Dinagat Island, Surigao del (Norte and del Sur), Butuan plus Agusan and Davao.
