DIY Travel Guide to VALENTINO SPA & RESORT in Batangas

I know what is everyone's feeling this summer. Each of us want to get out of the heat and head to the nearest swimming getaway.  It seems but it is not an intention of mine but I have been featuring the best resorts in Batangas! First there was Aquaria Resort now with Water Park included, then the Manuel Uy beach resort in Calatagan and the Virgin Beach in San Juan.

Since I got so inspired to add my growing list of  best resorts and beaches in Batangas, I would like to present Valentino Spa & Resort, the Oriental pool palace in Batangas. It's another worth - visiting resort that's just a few hours from the metro. This travel guide is shared by Vaughn Kieffer Jocson‎ who just spent a night there with her girlfriend. Here's a guide to help you plan your vacation at Valentino Spa and Resort:

How to get there / directions to Valentino Spa

  • From Gil Puyat Lrt Station, ride a bus (DLTB or Jam) going to Lemery Batangas. (Php 137 then get off at Cuenca. Don't forget to remind the driver to drop you off at  Valentino Spa Resort particularly in  Pinagtung-ulan. There's a signage so it wouldn't be hard to get lost. You just need to cross to the other side of the street. There's a tricycle that you can rent for Php 25 but it is super walkable (5-10 minutes).
  • You can take a bus (Php 85) bound to Batangas in Alabang. Get off at Tambo then take a jeep (Php 15) going to Cuenca.  Same thing, you can either walk for your health or take a jeep that's too short unless you have big pieces of baggage with you.

Vaughn's tip: "If you have a lot of stuff with you, a tricycle for rent (Php 10 each) but it is just 5 minute-walk so if you have the strength to carry on, walking is the best option. I also suggest to leave Manila around 5:30 am so that you won't get stuck in the middle of traffic in Lipa then reach Cuenca around 7 am or 730 am."
