After I got back from Bangkok, I had to sort so many things that I left and haven't finished yet. I felt so drained and really need some pampering. This fervent wish was quickly granted when I had an invite to join fellow girl blogger friends for a day of beautifying ourselves. First thing that came to my mind, I don't want this blog of mine to turn into beauty blog but you now I join a lot of events and meet a lot of people. I should be seriously making sure I look good if not better in public.

I had no time to even cut properly the nails on my hand and feet nowadays. That's why I chose Nailaholics first for manicure, pedicure and foot spa. Let's start from the ambiance of Nailaholics. I have a thing about pastel designs and colorful decorations. Nailaholics is all about that. With a light blue color tone that gives me that beach vibe, I wouldn't mind spending hours getting my nails done here.
The two ladies who serviced me are very good. They are so nice and their hands are very light. I did not felt any pain or get hurt. There was some misunderstanding actually at the start. When they did not ask that I wanted a foot spa so they went ahead and did the mani + pedi thing. Good thing, the lady was so considerate that she did it though the policy is foot spa comes first.

Feeling so girly, I left Nailaholics and proceeded to the next one which is just literally a door away. I had two options either eyebrow + underarm threading or eyebrow threading + Brazilian waxing down there. Since I am still shy to do the last one, I opted for the most practical - to shape up my pair of eyebrows and especially my armpits. I always wear sleeveless shirts because I am skinny!
There's this phrase we call locally, the "tiis - ganda" moment. It is about having a moment of feeling a bit of pain in return to become good looking. What I like about Hey Sugar is that they remove those unwanted hairs entirely different when we are at home. They don't use tweezers that cause chicken skin but organic products like this thread that is not a threat to our skin.

Gosh, this one I almost didn't want to try. I mean, why the heck would I put a pair of "fake" longer and curlier eyelashes on? I was chatting with another blogger Kamila, she mentioned about the horrible stuff about having these. She said her friend had to take a shower wearing googles just to make sure these lashes would last longer. I also heard that it is painful so another "tiis ganda" moment to bear.
I was on the verge to say no but heck, this chance for me is given for free. Plus, I have been receiving positive comments about how my photos have gotten better! My likes are always 100 and up. That's one thing that pushes me to strive to look good on photos. Armed by a bit of courage, I went ahead and lie on the bed. I was reminded by the lady that there's some pain due to this very sticky glue to be used to attach those eyelashes.
