What Star Wars The Last Jedi Taught Me About Traveling Outside Earth

Ayala Center, 6811 Ayala Ave, Makati, 1226 Metro Manila, Philippines

It sucks to admit that I haven't actually watched any of Star Wars movies, promise! That's why when an opportunity to see the Star Wars The Last Jedi block screening last Dec. 13th, I have to say yes in an instant! Few days before this, my Facebook feed is filled with die-hard fans slash friends of mine who are begging not to post a spoiler before they can watch themselves this movie in the theater.

What's more worth-sharing about this movie night that was held at Cinema 4 of Glorietta Mall is that this last installment of Star Wars is for the benefit of the Children's Hour. All sales from the tickets will be donated to some needy children in the country. As expected, I cannot relate about the story since it was my first time  but my mind was in full awe about the possibility of space travel in the near future. I also want to experience what it's like to go to the moon and other planets as well.

I cannot speak of the past Star Wars movies but I did admire how at some instance this overly-serious story somehow have some funny lines in between. They're not comedians for sure but the director is so good to be able to insert some entertaining lines for the crowd to laugh a bit.

Novellina sunblock lotion product review

Actually this block screening is more than the Star Wars movie, as I mentioned above this is about helping the kids at Children's Hour. I think that the management behind this did a good job because the seats are almost full. We also had a bit of perks like a few pieces of Salad Bar, DermCare and Novellina products as well.

I do hope more activities like this will happen in the future that supports advocacies for children's rights.
