Hataw.Ph, the newest shopping site in the Philippines for shopaholics on a budget

hataw.ph blog review

Shopping online usually means splurging more money. We end up getting stressed at the end of the day because we felt we deserve more than! Speaking of, there's a recently opened local shopping site called Hataw.ph. Think of Lazada and Shopee but this one is way, way easier to use and if you're on a budget, shopping via their website is very convenient. For me who shops a lot online from flights to household items, using these two biggest names nowadays has become a challenge. It is overwhelming because they have such huge inventory, I get lost.

I gave Hataw.ph a quick review to get to know this shopping site. After all, the "ber" months have started. Buying gifts as early as now is the way to go!  Sure buying in Baclaran or Divisoria is also a great idea for budget shoppers like me but I have no time to go there. I fear getting stuck in traffic and getting wet from rain.

Hataw.ph's story

Mr. Adolfo Sy, CEO of Hataw thought about starting www.hataw.ph. It began from the experience of two entrepreneurs (one of who is the Hataw CEO) when they were weighed down by the commissions and penalties in becoming sellers at one shopping platform. Their goal was to market their products there to gain a wider exposure and a higher return. They set up an online company with its emphasis on Quality Products at Affordable Prices. Whether you are looking to buy home products or clothing, Hataw is the answer to people on a tight budget like me.

Its main categories are clothing, gadgets, bags and shoes, toys kids and baby but they specialize in home and living and its part, home improvement. The difference is that in home and living you will find products in dining, kitchen, living rooms, decoration and on the other hand, home improvement is where hardware, lighting, faucet parts, door knobs come in. Likewise, the company also sells official brand products as a partnership agreement.

Furthermore Hataw.ph has a seller center where people may sign up. When they agree to the terms and agreement, they may upload their products, then start their own promotions or discounts and sell. Hataw.ph has a lot of payment options. They accept  cash on delivery, credit/debit card, and bank transfers. If you're near M Lhuillier branches, you're lucky too!

Since its official launch on September 7, Hataw.ph is giving Php 200 worth of shopping for the first 100 shoppers who will sign up. Hurry up! I also look forward for its app to be available on App store.

I love this site because it has other functionalities that empower its users: Wish List to store your items that you want to purchase next time so that you won’t forget it, Followed Shop for sellers whom you’ll love to do business again and My Reviews for leaving feedbacks to products received.

I have already a list to shop soon: a JLT mosquito net pink (Php 150), power bank (Php 450), swimming googles (Php 100) and lipstick (Php 30). See how very affordable the prices via Hataw.ph!
