One of the reasons why I started blogging is that I love to share my thoughts more than writing. While I don't have that perfect grammar, what kept me continue blogging for 9 years now is that I love to write down my goals and whatnots. Back then, my diary is written on an a cheap or extra notebook that I don't need in school. When I moved to Manila, I learned there's a much better platform to write my goals and sentiments in life. A girl friend introduced me a Belle De Jour planner which looks too fancy at a first glance. I felt a bit intimidated but when I opened it then checked page by page, I knew I found my best match. That's why when I learned of the launching of 2019 Belle De Jour planner, I just need to join this to start planning ahead the coming year.
The Belle De Jour 2019 planner event was held in Estancia Capitol, Pasig. It was a two-day celebration but the place was a bit far from me so I have to skip the first day. The activities from day one to day two are so inviting but then most of the ones that I am sure worth my time is the second day. I super love the theme this year which is “Make Today Magical”. After all, I am forever young at heart so I am always up for anything colorful and magical!
What I like about the Belle De Jour 2019 event launching is that it is a gathering of few hundreds of people. Don't expect a thick crowd but expect to meet fellow goal-centric, artsy and motivated people who share the same passion. The activities that Viviamo! Inc., the management behind BDJ Palnner made sure that the talks and workshops are a good mixture of some of the best topics that we can all learn. I specifically love the Passion/Purpose talks especially from fellow women. At this point in my career who do not belong to the millennial batch anymore, I have to be the best I can.

For the art lovers, BDJ have prepared a lot from them: Basic Brush Calligraphy, Calligraphy Blends and Shadows, and Calligraphy with Backgrounds and Wreaths Calligraphy with Leah Ang of Calligraphy Love MNL. I am forever searching for Instagrammable shots so I made sure I didn't skipped Kenneth Amparo's workshop about how to take double-tap worthy Instagram photos. I wish though it is a whole day of learning for the best tricks! The next one I joined is Trixie Esguerra's session, a coach and Vision board-party expert, she has this very light aura that brings positivity through her words. She's all we need when we feel too scared and hopeless to reach our dreams. I just couldn't believe what I put on my vision board: a family in two years time.
I know going here and there is overwhelming. The free scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream is all I need to add a few more energy. I felt a model during the photo session for Secosana bags because the one I use every single day is the same brand. I also enjoyed doing my own gratitude jar and really looking forward for Tarot card reading but the line is always long so I think I will wait for another chance.
Of course, that feeling of bringing a brand new 2019 Be De Jour Planner is beyond words. I super love the pastel female chick on the cover. It is not too think but not too thin either. I have nothing but praises to the people who designed it. It's like they nailed what every planner-obsessed person wants! Watch out for my review of Belle De Jour planner including some journals and a Navi planner soon. I was actually surprised that Belle De Jour do not sell planner alone. They also have clear stamps and stickers.
