Wanna join the Philippines' largest hotel suppliers show? Now on its 10th year, expect the very best and most trusted leaders in the hospitality industry to gather at the SMX Convention Center today until the 21st.
Hotel Suppliers Show is a gateway for global brands and manufacturers to connect with professionals in a comprehensive sourcing event. This year it is occupying a bigger space and more exhibitors from the different sectors of the hospitality industry — from front desk to the back of the house, from the kitchen to housekeeping, and from construction materials to furniture. It serves as a comprehensive showcase for food and beverage, design and decor, and furniture, fixture and equipment, as well as hospitality technology and suppliers.
Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, chairman of the Senate Committee on Trade, Commerce and Entrepreneurship is the guest speaker who will deliver the keynote speech. Distinguished guests include officials from the Department of Trade and Industry, Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines, Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Philippine Association for Building Administration Inc., Philippine Institute of Architects, Philippine Green Building Council, Philippine Institute of Interior Designers, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines, Sound Technology Institute of the Philippines, Japan External Trade Organization, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines.
Its success has led to the event’s expansion into a bigger expo starting next year. Patrick Lawrence Tan, Global-Link chief executive officer, announced that they are launching the Philippine Hospitality Essentials Week, which will put the Hotel Suppliers Show together with five complementary events all under one roof.
“For us, it has been an exciting 10 years of catering to the needs of the hotel industry through this expo, and we know that the future holds more opportunities for growth, the show is expected to double its size by 2020… our dream will now be a reality thanks to our supports, partners and exhibitors. ” Tan said.
“That’s why for 2020, we are putting the Hotel Suppliers Show together with five other expos under the banner of what we would like to call the Philippine Hospitality Essentials Week. Together, these six interrelated shows will be the biggest sourcing destination for the various sectors of the hospitality industry: hotels, events, food & beverage services, technology and design, as well as luxury gifts and premiums.”
The Philippine Hospitality Essentials Week next year will feature the Hotel Suppliers Show; Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment Philippines; Hospitality Tech Suppliers Show; Food & Beverages Suppliers Show; Events Tech & Suppliers Expo; and Corporate Gifts & Premiums Expo. It will be held from September 24 to 26, 2020 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
One thing I look forward in the Hotel Suppliers Show is the Beauty and Wellness Manila Expo, an all-in-one sourcing expo for health, beauty and wellness. Thousands of beauty and wellness enthusiasts and industry players are expected to gather here to see the latest products and services offered in the market and to connect to top brands and suppliers through their business-to-business matching activity.
This will be a partnership between Global-Link and the premier cosmetic association here in the country, the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines, Inc.
The Hotel Suppliers Show is being presented in partnership with Global-Link MP Events International Inc. and the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines, Inc., the premier association of furniture designers and manufacturers here in the country.
Hotel Suppliers Show 2019 will be held from September 19 to 21, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. It will be a grand showcase of over 500 exhibitors occupying 15,000 sq. meters of exhibition space, over 10,000 products to choose from and an expected 15,000 trade buyers from all over the country.
