Cavite is a favorite destination of Metro Manila locals because of its proximity. No need to take an overnight bus or an hour of flight to get here. Cavite is also a foodie's haven. Every now and then, new dining spots open that makes Cavite a place worth coming back to.
Yours truly was invited to join the familiarization wellness tour courtesy of Tourism Promotions Board Philippines last week for 5 days. I had a really great time! See below two restaurants that we visited in Cavite.
Perlas ng Silang
Imagine eating good food with a view of beautiful flowers, an old car and so on? Perlas ng Silang's entrance way going to where the tables and chairs are also showcase beautiful lush plants of green varieties. I thought I was transported in the era of dinosaurs for a few seconds. I swear! Perlas ng Silang is a pet-friendly destination as confirmed by the staff whom I asked while I was there because I really like the nature vibe of this place and planning to bring Ollie my dog.
What we tried was their Filipino breakfast buffet. Too bad I was still full when we came here so I was not able to eat all on my plate. Perlas ng Silang's breakfast buffet is only Php 200 per head available on weekends only.

Perlas ng Silang has NO entrance fee though I wasn't able to clarify if this also applies to those who will go there to visit the flower garden only and not going to eat. They also offer condiments, dried fruits and dried nuts including dried salmon sold in packs.
Only challenge I see here in Perlas ng Silang is its location. There are secondary small roads that you need to take and that there is no public transportation vehicle passing by so either you will bring your own car or hire one.
