A friend who owns a travel agency and a fellow furmom invited me over to do a site visit to a pet-friendly hotel in Makati. Unlike Hilton Hotel which is also a pet-friendly hotel but charges a hefty amount of Php 7, 500 per pet per stay, Coro Hotel does not charge pet fee at all except for their Suite Rooms. This is definitely good news to furparents who are on tight budget but still would like to experience pet-friendly staycations in Manila.
Located in Poblacion which is a known touristy place in Makati where cafes and accommodations are everywhere, Coro Hotel is slowly gaining its popularity as an affordable hotel for pet owners, families and tourists. I have taken more videos when we were there so pardon, I only have a handful photos I personally took inside Coro Hotel.

Our room tour was very quick but was assisted by Coro Hotel's property manager. I forgot his name but I still can recall his face and being very accommodating. He said he is also a proud dad of two dogs at home. Coro Hotel is not only a pet-friendy hotel but a workplace of pet-lovers.
He even said that the owners of Coro Hotel are petlovers that is why they decided to open their hotel to furparents and furbabies. Not only that, there are stray cats and dogs outside or nearby the vicinity of Coro Hotel that they also feed regularly. For that, I give a million plus points of staying.
It was almost lunch time when we went there and there's no holiday but the receiving area are pretty full of people from different nationalities. Even in the reception area, the staff are busy entertaining guests whom I assure are booking for their stay. What caught my attention is that there's a big stuff toy of a dog that really gives me impression that Coro Hotel is one proud pet-friendly hotel in Makati.
Coro Hotel is not five star or a luxury hotel but for me the vibe says it is. From the moment you come inside and be greeted by its very friendly staff to seeing the rooms inside plus the swimming pool with a great view of outdoor, I can say every peso spent here is super worth it.
What also surprised me is the fact that their communal dining area is also open to guests with furbabies. In other pet-friendly hotels in Manila I have reviewed, all of them require that your furbaby only stays inside the room while you dine in their respective restaurants. If you don't want this setup, you may opt for in-room dining with your furbaby.
