7-Eleven Invites Filipinos to Gear Up and Run the Streets Again This 2024

711 fun run 2024

I always see a lot of fun runs happening in Manila and thinking I think it is going to be really fun to join it. That is why when I got invited to join the media launching of 7-Eleven Run Series, I made sure to be part of it. I actually couldn't believe this is already the 12th year that 7-Eleven is holding it's annuan fun run with an exception during the height of pandemic.

With the goal of uniting Filipinos to get up and get running for their health, 7-Eleven Run 2024 will once again  simultaneously be held in three different venues. To shake things up, new locations have been chosen  for this edition, and participants can now expect to sprint through the streets of Manila, Iloilo, and  Cagayan de Oro.

The venues this year will be at the following locations: MANILA (Quirino Grandstand), ILOILO (Atria Park District Ayala) and CAGAYAN DE ORO (Ayala Malls Centrio). In its pursuit to offer Filipinos a fresh and exhilarating yet inviting experience, 7-Eleven has ensured that  the event is accessible to everyone, no matter one’s age or experience.

Whether the participant’s a pro competitive runner, a newbie gearing up for their first time, or a family or barkada looking to make  lasting memories and practice enriching their overall wellness, there’s sure to be a category fit for all. Runners can choose from ten distance categories across all three venues: 1K, 3K, 5K, 5K Buddy, 10K,  10K Buddy, 16K, 21K, 32K, and 42K.

In addition, a 7K distance category was added for the Manila leg  only supported by Mogu Mogu. These categories are supported by the following brands, which include Sip and Oreo for 1K; Cornetto  for 3K; Pocari for 5K; Fit n Right for 5K Buddy; Nature Spring for 10K; Le Minerale, Kopiko Lucky Day,  and Cal for 10K Buddy; Gatorade, Pepsi, and Mountain Dew for 16K; Summit for 21K; Refresh, Nova,  and C2 for 32K; Coke, Wilkins, and Nutriboost for 42K. No matter how you enter, it’s all for a good cause  as part of the proceeds will go to the brand’s charity organization, the Philseven Foundation.

To further motivate Filipinos to join and get in shape, medals and cash prizes await the winners of the  3K to 42K categories, with monetary winnings that can amount to P25,000. But that’s not all; the top  three overall Filipino winners in both the male and female 21K, 32K, and 42K divisions won’t only get  the glory, they’ll also have the honor of representing the country in an international competition. More details for the upcoming event will be posted on 7-Eleven Run Series official Facebook page and  website at www.run711.com. What a way to start the year right.
