Review of 5 Pet Water Bottles and Bowls in Manila I have Tried in 2024

cheapest pet water bottles in manila

Pet water bottles have become a must-have for pet owners who want convenience and practicality. As someone who brings my dog a lot of times outside, I have had a fair share of different portable pet tumblers I have bought for my dog! Let me share you each of these below and my opinion if it is worth buying or not:

1. Aquaflask Water Pet Cup Link to Product

It was trending online when I bought the Aquaflask Water Pet Cup only to realize when I received it that it is just the "head". I only have one tumbler and definitely i don't want to share this to my dog, Ollie! Another thing I noticed is that it is too narrow so it can only be used for drinking water. It is also widely open and no cover so it is exposed in germs.

However, it is high quality. Even if I drop this for how many times, it is not going to break easily.

  • Pros: Durable and fits most tumblers.
  • Cons: Only for water, not for food. You need to bring a separate tumbler for yourself.
  • Price: Php 250
  • Verdict: Not worth buying again. It's not convenient to carry two tumblers.

2.  Generic Pet Bottle from TikTok

This is a 3-in-1 design pet bottle that comes with a detachable bowl for both water and food. It was affordable, but the quality of the plastic feels a bit cheap and might not last long. If this product gets to the bottom of my bag and I put something heavy, it might get a little crushed. I find it much cuter though coz it is smaller and thus takes up a little bit of space in my blog.

  • Pros: Versatile, easy to carry, compact design.
  • Cons: The plastic feels flimsy and may not last for long-term use.
  • Price: Php 200
  • Verdict: Good for short walks or if you don’t often bring your pet outdoors.

3.  FREEBIE Pet Bottle from a Brand Partnership

A pet brand graciously sent me a PR package with the products I want to review. It came with this FREEBIE.  I am not in any way discrediting this brand for this. I understand this was a FREEBIE.  This is not even part of the products for reviews. This is a pet bottle that is cheap and I'm worried it may leak in my bag. I haven’t even used it yet because of this concern. This is not ideal for long-term and heavy use for sure.

  • Pros: Free.
  • Cons: Thin plastic, easily deformable, likely to leak.
  • Price: FREE
  • Verdict: Only use if it's free I will take it but I wouldn't spend money on it.

4. Collapsible Silicone Pet Bowl

A collapsible silicone bowl is a popular choice for many pet owners. It's lightweight and great for short trips, but the lack of a lid makes it prone to germs, which can be a downside if you're concerned about hygiene.

  • Pros: Portable, suitable for both food and water, easy to fold.
  • Cons: No lid, which leaves it exposed to dirt and germs.
  • Price: Around Php 50 or less
  • Verdict: Good as a back-up option for short outings, but not the best for hygiene-conscious pet owners.

5. Porta Water Bottle

This is my absolute favorite among all the pet bottles I’ve tried! It allows me to drink directly from the bottle, then pour water into a separate compartment for my dog without needing multiple tumblers.

  • Pros: Dual-function, durable, and made from high-quality plastic.
  • Cons: Only for water, no food compartment.
  • Price: Php 1,100+
  • Verdict: Worth every penny!

There’s even an upgraded version  of this with extra compartment separate for food and water. For an additional Php 300+, it is now made of metal. 'll be getting that one next time! HERE is the link if you wanna check it out.

Conclusion:

After testing multiple pet water bottles and bowls, my top recommendation is the Porta Water Bottle for its dual function and high-quality design. If you're on a budget, the No-Brand 3-in-1 Pet Bottle from TikTok is a decent option for short walks. Avoid low-quality bottles that may leak or break easily. What pet bottles have you tried? Share your experience or suggest new ones for me to review next time!
