McDonald’s Philippines has officially opened registration for its much-anticipated annual family fun run, the McDonald’s Stripes Run. Since its debut in 2010, this event has attracted thousands of participants, and for the first time, pets are also welcome to join the fun! Participants sport the iconic striped socks and run to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Philippines, with proceeds going toward building more Bahay Bulilit Learning Centers across the country. These centers provide a safe space for early childhood education while parents are at work. Currently, 43 Bahay Bulilit Learning Centers operate nationwide, and this year’s event aims to expand that number.

Taking place on December 1, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, this year’s Stripes Run offers multiple race categories, including 10km, 5km, 3km, and the 1km Fur Category, where participants can run with their beloved pets. Each runner receives a race kit that includes a singlet, socks, a bib, and a breakfast meal, while fur parents will receive a special dog bandana for their pets.

“We’re expecting over 10,000 participants this year, and it’s all about bringing people together for a great cause,” says Adi Hernandez, Assistant Vice President for Corporate Relations and Impact at McDonald’s Philippines. The event will also feature an exciting program of activities and, of course, McDonald’s favorites to enjoy after the race.

For McDo's dog run category:

Kit includes Stripes Run Singlet, Race Socks, Race Bib & Map, Breakfast Meal, and Finisher’s Token for 1 furbaby + 16 years old and above furparent and 1 dog bandana

Fee: Php 999
