The Founder’s Journey
Dee’s passion for tea began during her travels across Europe and the UK, where she experienced the elegance of tea drinking. A Christmas gift of fine loose-leaf teas from India sparked the idea of introducing high-quality, premium teas to the Philippine market. Recognizing a gap in the local tea industry—dominated by instant and sugary blends—she sought to offer authentic, luxury teas in beautifully designed loose-leaf tins and pyramid tea bags.
With a Master’s in Entrepreneurship from the Asian Institute of Management, Dee turned her vision into reality, sourcing the finest teas from around the world. As more Filipinos embrace health-conscious lifestyles, Duchess Fine Teas aims to provide a refined alternative to coffee and sugary drinks, promoting wellness and mindfulness through tea.
